Workshops
Many of us carry a desire for new knowledge, while also seeking dialogue and the chance to build on our existing ideas and perspectives. In a world flooded with virtual connections, I, for one, have come to value even more the simple pleasure of sitting together at a table, sipping tea or coffee, engaging in spontaneous conversations, and exploring different forms of visual expression.
The workshops will be held in small groups and are intended for those who want to immerse themselves in drawing, delve into the exploration of printmaking and its diverse relief and intaglio techniques, and revive the joy of handcrafting through the creation of sewn drawings.
EXPLORING PRINTMAKING
€50 / Payable with plan
In the workshops titled Exploring Printmaking, we will dive into various printmaking techniques. We’ll start with a brief introduction to printmaking, then gradually move on to simpler relief printing methods, including cardboard and gel printing, as well as traditional linocut and woodcut. Later, we’ll take on more advanced techniques like reduction and multi-color linocut, and even create our own ex libris or custom stamps for marking books or other cherished items. We will also explore embossing (blind printing) and touch upon the more complex intaglio techniques, such as drypoint and etching.
These workshops are open to all curious and eager participants who want to try something new. We welcome both young and older art enthusiasts.

These workshops are intended for those who already have some basic knowledge of printmaking and wish to enhance and refine their skills, while also enjoying the creative atmosphere of working alongside others.
COMPANION BOOKLETS
€35
If you’re someone who finds constant inspiration in books, then this is the ideal workshop series for you. We will treat the book as a medium of visual expression, explore the concept of the artist’s book and the zine, and create our own uniquely designed, multi-page art book. We will also craft a personalized planner, tailored to suit your everyday needs.* The term "zine" is a shortened form of "magazine" and refers to an independent, often handmade publication created by individuals or small communities. Zines typically cover specific topics and often feature visual art, illustrations, photography, poetry, or socially engaged content. Making a zine encourages creativity and individuality, as zines are usually meant for personal expression or sharing alternative perspectives outside commercial media.
STITCHED STORIES
€30
If you’re seeking calm and mindfulness in your creative process, these workshops are the perfect choice for you. By exploring stitching as an artistic expression, we will transfer drawings onto fabric and discover how to merge the spontaneity of drawing with the slow, meditative process of stitching. Your stories will come to life on fabric – whether as personal, playful motifs or as thoughtful artistic expressions.
The workshops are open to anyone looking to try something new and enjoy the creative process, while perhaps also weaving new bonds of trust and community. Both beginners and those with more experience are warmly welcome.
